One in a melon

I don't do very many One Year cake smash sessions because I don't have a studio space (yet!), however; when my friend Meg asked me to photograph her daughter's One in a Melon themed set- I couldn't say no! Photographing babies and toddlers can be quite difficult, but I have a 2 year old at home, so I was ready for the challenge! Cameras can be scary and intimidating for small children, yet Riverleigh wasn't even phased. There is always a lot of behind the camera work that goes into getting them to smile or even look at you! She didn't mind the camera one bit and was content to sit and chomp on her watermelon. This was her first time trying the delicious red fruit and she absolutely loved it!
