The Lucas Family

The Lucas Family and I woke up before the sunrise to capture the beautiful morning light, and boy was it worth it! Another bonus of waking up at the crack of dawn is that it's typically quite a bit cooler; however that wasn't Mother Nature's plan today and it was still ridiculously muggy outside this morning. Ahhh, gotta love Texas humidity, but that didn't stop us from capturing some stunning family portraits! The Lucas Family is so much fun to photograph, and Mama always has the perfect outfits planned. She wanted to incorporate a little bit of water into their session today, so we headed over to Chisenhall Baseball Fields in Burleson. It doesn't look like much from afar, but once you climb down to the creek bed you'll be in awe. Few locations offer so much variation and maintain consistent lighting, so this spot is always a favorite!
